Blackwing, the new project from Joshua Muñoz, makes his debut with a celestial drum & bass single aptly titled ‘Distance’. The ethereal and ruminating ambiance of this bass-heavy piece quickly sets a backdrop for an exploratory voyage of solacing melody and vocal samples. With its discernible warmth, vibratory groove and deft production, Muñoz’ hits the ground running in both establishing the identity of Blackwing and providing a taste of what’s to come from his new artistic endeavor.
