All of us here at TIMEWHEEL are extremely excited to announce that ‘Frida’s Heart’ by Femina-X won “Best Music Video” at the Latino Short Film Festival in Harlem NYC last weekend.

Filmed in San Antonio, Texas, the music video for ‘Frida’s Heart’ was co-directed by Femina-X frontwoman, Daniela Riojas and San Antonio-based filmmaker, Laura Varela with cinematography by Andrew James Gonzales, and the whole crew is very proud. The video was created out of passion for the sacred, primordial state of this land’s water and natural resources prior to colonization, and was produced with the help of a grant provided by the San Antonio Artist Foundation.
