Imagine-Logo-CUT

Imagine Festival recently dropped their jaw dropping lineup that promises a weekend as eclectic as it is unforgettable. This festival is 100% not to be missed. whether you are a basshead who gets off on chest crushing bass and wobbles that cut to the core, a lover of spacey downtempo with deep, psychedelic grooves, or an OG raver, this festival reaches across the landscape of electronic music and has gathered enough content for every connoisseur of a genre of EDM to be not only satisfied, but giddy with excitement.

Trance and Progressive house legend Armin Van Buuren heads up the lineup, accompanied by Alesso, Galantis and Kaskade on the Oceania stage and will be set to inspire with their signature blends of 4/4 kick drums and impassioned trance supersaw. Also accompanying them on the Oceania stage will Zeds Dead, RL Grime, Adventure Club, Liquid Stranger, and the unrivaled, unparalleled Bassnectar, among others, to offset the uplifting trance themes with hard-hitting, in your face, headbangable dubstep. I would also be bringing a disservice to the lineup if I failed to mention the masters of mid tempo, Glitch Mob on the same stage.

The Amazonia stage is topped of with names like a ZHU, Griz, and Shpongle, featuring a lineup, on this one stage alone, that, as previously stated, is as eclectic as it is unforgettable. These three prodigies will be joined by Cashmere Cat, Jai Wolf, Eoto, and Lotus just to name a few. You could build an incredible lineup for a festival just off this stage alone, but this is only one facet of an event that looks set to rock you to your core.

I have only described two of the stages that Imagine will be hosting music on; that’s less than half of the entire lineup. In addition to Oceania and Amazonia Imagine will feature other stages called Aeria and Disco Inferno. These stages will feature names like Noisia, Koan Sound, Gabriel & Dresden, Paul Oakenfold, Shlump, and DJ Dara, just to name a few. I have been to many festivals, and most of the time I can read a festival lineup without being particularly impressed; but once I saw the first phase of this lineup drop I knew it was one I could not miss. September 21st-23rd, Atlanta, Georgia will host the fifth annual Imagine festival. Come witness history and be a part of the musical magic that though Imaginable in name, is set to be unimaginable in scope.
