A brand new album is on the horizon from beatmaker and multi-instrumentalist Jonah Conrad. In 2016 Jonah swept through San Antonio’s local music scene with a surge of electronica which draws from strong influences of dance music, trip-hop, and old school jazz, founded upon chill rhythmic grooves that always make the audience want to move to the sound. Through his musical exploration and collaboration with his friends and label mates, Jonah’s music has been in a constant state of evolution and ever-increasing popularity.

Jonah recently brought in his latest project to the TIMEWHEEL studio where we got a sneak peek at what is to come. His new full-length album which he titled “Miracle/Whip” is expected to be released through our label in early 2017 on all major platforms. The music will be all original, self-produced tracks that take on a cinematic approach, in which each song leads into one another as if they creating an intimate and progressing story. The album will longer than Jonah’s latest release, “Headspace”, making it his most lengthy project yet.

Jonah gave us a statement regarding his desired result from the latest works:

“I’m focused on making this project sound as cohesive as possible, I’ve really honed in on finding my particular sound; the way that I create as an artist, over the last few months. For this album I’ve looked for inspiration in daily life, I’ve almost used it as an audio scrapbook to keep personal memories of this time in my life. I can’t wait to share it with everyone, and I’m beyond grateful for the support everyone has showed me throughout 2016 and I’m glad to be putting out this project with my family at TIMEWHEEL.”
