Last year, Grand Tapestry – consisting of Eligh of the Living Legends and Alam Khan – released their sophomore album, Tides, on Gravitas Recordings. Tides heavily featured traditional Indian instruments fused with a distinctive hip-hop sound, creating a dynamic blend of cultures.
Now, to celebrate one year of Tides, Gravitas Recordings and Grand Tapestry present five new remixes from Savej, MORiLLO, Lil Fish, Balkan Bump, and Ethno & Drishti Beats. Through personal flairs and signature sounds, each artist introduces their influence on the sacred, conscious beats from Grand Tapestry’s original release.
