Oleg Pustovit is a self-taught 3D artist and designer from Ukraine. Driven by his interests in fantasy, futurism, science and the endlessness of space, Pustovit produces out-of-this-world illustrations that bring to mind the complexities of physics and gravitational forces in our universe.  “As for inspirations, they come from everywhere: it can be something from real life, a scene from a movie or a random idea,” the artist shares. “I often visit websites like Pinterest, Behance, Tumblr, or various design blogs to see what other people do. I feel more motivated to make something when I see so much amazing work posted by others.”

Pustovit’s background in computer science plays a major role in his creative experimentation, during which he utilizes 3D design software, such as Houdini and Cinema4D, to manipulate and transform ordinary shapes into intricate celestial scenes and narratives. “I have an interest in innovative technology and design,” he says. “It’s very relevant nowadays since technology develops rapidly, even in graphic design there are so many new tools out there which speed up and help with creative work.”(h/t: creator’s project)
