Yuri Shwedoff is a digital artist, painter, photographer and animator who resides in the city of Moscow. His artistic style, for which he has become recognized all over the web, appears as a seamless blend of historical, pop-cultural and science fictional themes all captured within a unique modal of realism. The attention to detail in his work is unparalleled, as he gives life to even the most subtle of details within each piece. Dystopic and jarring, all the while enchanting and captivating, his illustrations will have you wandering through some beguiling corridors of thought.
Shwedoff has been studying art from a young age, beginning in the year 2001 when he was enrolled into the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum of the Russian Academy of Arts. Upon completion of his studies at the Academy in 2008, he then went on to attend Moscow State Academic Art University where he would graduate in 2014, going on to produce a plethora of award-winning artworks and exhibitions, kindling his career as a professional artist.
