Belgium-based beat chemist, Poztman, unveils a mighty and visceral experience in the form of new single, ‘Burial Expunge’. Sonically merging folklore and tribal elements with deep, cacophonic electronic frequencies, the track makes direct contact with the nervous system itself.
The standout single is part of forthcoming album, Blood, Steel & Rust, which continues the conceptual story set forth set in the previous Rites of Calling EP following Alix, a mentor in a once-thriving village, as he navigates the aftermath of a devastating corruption unleashed by his gifted pupil, Nyathi. Forced into exile, Alix and the surviving villagers seek refuge and a cure from the enigmatic Rust Witch.
Despite their overwhelming loss, they muster the courage to confront the darkness and reclaim their village. This gripping narrative delves into themes of loss, redemption, and the strength of community, painting a vivid picture of hope amid despair and the unyielding determination to rebuild from the ashes.
