Femina-X has just released a new music video for the single “INKA”, from their debut album Multiverse. Illustrated entirely by San Antonio-based artist Emmanuel Valtierra, the video is a stunning visual homage to the ancient Inca civilization of the highlands of Peru. Valtierra’s traditional Latin-American artistic style fits seamlessly with FX’s enrapturing vocals, hypnotic instrumentation and unmistakable phonaesthetic. The band is portrayed in an extremely fitting and mesmerizing dreamworld where they travel through the world of the song, lead through multiple scenes with what appears to be gods and goddesses. See it for yourself above.
If you’re in the area, catch Femina-X live at Limelight in San Antonio, Texas on March 11 for the release of new album Multiverse. The album will become available online via TIMEWHEEL March 14.
