On Monday, November 21st, locally-renown indie rockers Fishermen shared a vibrant new music video to an ever-growing audience based in our hometown of San Antonio, Texas. The footage, captured by Kevin Barton and Michael David-Garcia of Die Happy Productions, highlights exciting moments during their performance earlier this month at Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival in Dignowity & Lockwood Parks. Electrifying music reverberates the lively memories of that night, where label artists Verisimilitude simultaneously held a 4-hour-long concert and “Liquid Sunshine Experience” Light Show in the same location, not more than a hundred steps away from where this video was filmed.
“Here’s what happens when you pass out 192 cans of silly string and 150 body cam lanyards for people to live stream an interactive performance!” Fishermen posted in high spirits as they premiered the new release onto social media, which can be viewed above.
That night in its entirety was a testament to the vitality and passion of San Antonio’s rapidly growing music scene. Just down the street, there was more magic being made at San Antonio Sound Garden‘s first “11/11 You Vote They Win Party” which showcased some more of the distinct talent our city has to offer, featuring Amea, The Foreign Arm, Junkie, TIMEWHEEL’s Femina-X and many others.
