Process-13, a collaborative project between TIMEWHEEL producer, MASLO, and San Antonio-based independent artist, Triston Andrew, have officially made their web debut with a new single, ‘Avus’. The record is truly an immersive experience, and a fascinating preview of what’s to come from the project.
The synthesis of the duo’s enrapturing use of lo-fi tremolo, the ghostly melodiousness and the sporadic, yet succinctly timed percussion amalgamate seamlessly into a composition that one could effortlessly drift away with. Most impressive of all, the record in its entirety was written, produced, mixed, mastered and even given its artwork by MASLO and Andrew exclusively.
