TIMEWHEEL label artists Verisimilitude announced a round trip of Texas through their Facebook page on Sunday, July 10th. The tour begins on Wednesday, July 27th at Hybrid Records in Corpus Christi, Texas and ends on Sunday, July 31st at Wake the Dead Coffee House in San Marcos, Texas. Having played at many popular clubs and venues, V-tude has developed a diverse fan base throughout Texas that’s influenced and strengthened their ever-growing expansion. Notable performances include Imagine Fest at Imagine Books and Records, ODYSSEY, and the Austin Instrumental Music Festival in which they played alongside bands such as Scale the Summit, Tia Carerra, and Bright Like the Sun.
The San Antonio-based math rock trio has witnessed a new surge in popularity with the younger generation in their hometown who have developed a new passion for experimental rock. The band describes their sound as “Groovin’ vibes and melodic chords stacked on synth lines and complex drum beats.” Through the use of tribal beats and psychedelic overtones, V-tude brings raw energy into the room with a dynamic performance that can only inspire enthusiasm in the audience. Personally having attended and filmed many of their live performances, I am speaking from experience when I say that these musicians wield exceptional sonic power.
Catch them on their five day journey through Texas:

7/28 – Houston – The Red Light at Springbok
7/29 – Dallas – Spinster Records
