At Psychedelic Science 2017, thousands of people from all over the world gathered to discuss ongoing research into the benefits and risks of entheogenic medicines. Predominant researchers within the international scientific community delivered lectures and held panel discussions to raise awareness of the continuous progress being made in getting these compounds recognized by the medical community and making them available to the people who could truly benefit from them.

For the 100th episode of the Aubrey Marcus Podcast, Aubrey had an opportunity to sit down with comedian, philosopher, and fellow podcaster Duncan Trussell at the conference. The two get into it pretty quick, starting the discussion off with Duncan being offered Amazonian Rapé (pronounced Hapé) snuff at the hotel. They go on to discuss challenging the constructs of the mind to heal trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety and many of the challenges of our time, and they share a lot of laughs.
